This utlity patches an issue for some computers running OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) and version 4.0.1 of any Tidebreak product whereby the Tidebreak software does not start properly due to a Java update issued by Apple.
Symptoms of thie issue: A red indicator “light” will appear for PointRight in the Tidebreak Control Panel.
The utility reconfigures the accessibility settings that Tidebreak products apply to Java to allow mouse pointer capture and redirection to work. It will also enable the “Allow access for assistive devices” option under “Universal Access” in System Preferences.
To apply the patch, simply run the utility. You will be prompted to enter your security credentials. Note that you do not need to install this utility on your computer; you can run it and then eject this virtual disk.
